On behalf of the Saginaw County Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) Partners, you are invited to the upcoming public event that will be held March 13th from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. at St. Mary's of Michigan Education Center.

The purpose of the event is to unveil theupdated 2014-2016 CHIP, our community’s roadmap for setting priorities, defining actions, and developing policies that promote health. During this public meeting we would also like to set a tone that expresses the need for broad community support and commitment in the on-going systematic coordination and targeting of resources to carry out health improvement activities.

CHIP efforts underway in Saginaw are spearheaded by the Saginaw Community Foundation, Saginaw County Department of Public Health, Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority, Covenant HealthCare, St. Mary's of Michigan, Health Delivery, Inc., and the Saginaw Intermediate School District. Our Community Health Needs Assessment process involved many other stakeholders and was centered on gathering input from residents.
