Neurological Rehabilitation

It’s important to provide excellent care and attention for your health, especially when it comes to your brain. The neurological program at Covenant Healthcare specializes in providing individual and/or multidisciplinary therapy evaluations and treatments to patients with neurological impairments. We understand the stress that patients go through physically and emotionally, which is why we’ve been providing extraordinary care and peace of mind to our patients for generations.

Patients who can benefit from neurological rehabilitation include patients with:

  • Brain injury or tumor
  • Brain aneurysm/subarachnoid hemorrhage (bleeding in the area between the brain and the thin tissues that cover it)
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Encephalitis
  • Guillian-Barre syndrome
  • Meningitis
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Myopathy
  • Neuropathy
  • Parkinson's disease
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Stroke
  • Various other neurological diagnoses

Our goal is for patients to achieve their highest level of independence possible through high mobility, self-care and community reintegration. That’s why our services include a thorough evaluation and functional assessment, customized therapy programs, patient and family education, training, goal-setting and planning-tailored to the unique needs of each patient. We also provide lodging for out-of-town families at the McNally House, located at 1701 North Michigan. For more information, please call 989-583-0155.
