Spasticity Management

Spasticity are muscles that are continually contracted. When someone experiences spasticity, it can be difficult to do every day things such as walking, movement, speech and overall quality of life. Symptoms of spasticity include:

  • Clonus (a series of involuntary muscular contractions)
  • Hyperactive reflexes
  • Impaired voluntary control of skeletal muscles
  • Muscle spasms
  • Pain
