Covenant HealthCare MedExpress Hemlock Celebrates 5 Years of Care
In 2011, Covenant HealthCare opened its doors at 16440 Gratiot in Hemlock. Since that time, the 11,700-square-foot facility has provided care to thousands of patients.
Here’s how it breaks down:
- 47,513 urgent care medical encounters
- 9,250 x-ray and imaging visits
- 49,657 lab draws, and
- More than 23,001 physical therapy visits
“We are happy to be here for patients in Hemlock and the surrounding communities,” says Paul Schaub, Manager of Covenant MedExpress. “It’s our goal to provide convenient, high-quality, reliable care in a friendly environment and we hope that we are meeting the needs of our patients.”
The building houses:
- A MedExpress urgent care clinic with three exam rooms and a walk-in policy;
- Low-dose imaging and diagnostic services with a walk-in policy;
- Laboratory services with a walk-in policy;
- Physical medicine and rehabilitation services by appointment. Staff specialize in treating a wide variety of diagnoses and conditions with emphasis on orthopedic, spine, manual therapy, vestibular/balance, oncology, sports medicine, and aquatic rehabilitation.
The building is also home to Hemlock Family Medicine, with Dr. Marc Davis, Nurse Practitioner Lisa Bourcier, and their team.
As a thank you to the community, Covenant HealthCare hosted a “thank you” tailgate in September at the Hemlock High School football game.
