Critical Care

At Covenant HealthCare, we have some of the region's best and brightest physicians caring for patients in our Intensive Care Units. Our team is comprised of doctors, board certified in both internal medicine and critical care, along with nurse practitioners that collaborate with the entire care team.

Critical care services at Covenant HealthCare are dedicated to providing adult intensive care and monitoring. There are a total of five units ranging in size from 10 to 14 beds. Our board-certified intensivists are on site 24 hours and trained to treat and care for patients needing ventilator management, or have diagnosis or problems including chest pain, acute myocardial infarction, cardiac dysrhythmias, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, renal insufficiency, intracranial hemorrhages.

In addition, they care for patients recovering from complex coronary bypass surgical procedures, major small and large bowel procedures, cerebrovascular trauma/disorders/procedures, major vascular procedures, surgical emergencies, CVA needing critical care, and craniotomies.
