Teddy Bear Motorcycle Ride Tradition Continues for Covenant Kids

The Teddy Bear Ride offers an opportunity for local bikers to brighten the day of local kids in the Covenant Children's Hospital. The 18th annual Teddy Bear Ride for Covenant Kids will be held Saturday, Aug 24, 2024.

People who cannot make the event but wish to participate are encouraged to donate new teddy bears and other new stuffed animals at a drop off location now through the day of the event at:

Stuffed animals are used throughout the year to comfort children who are hospitalized at Covenant Children's Hospital, the region’s only Level II Verified Pediatric Trauma Center complemented by a regional Pediatric Unit and a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Stuffed animals will be transported in a vehicle to keep clean for patient use.

Registration to ride will begin August 24, 2024 (the day of) at Sanford American Legion (2080 N Meridian Road, Sanford, MI 48657) between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Kickstands up and bikers will leave Sanford at 3:00pm and arrive at Covenant Children's Hospital at Covenant Medical Center - Harrison (1447 N. Harrison, Saginaw, MI 48602) just before 4:00pm.
