What do I need to request Epic Access for my students?
To request Epic access for a college or university’s clinical group, the eCovenant team requires information to ensure complete build for user ID’s in a timely manner.
The contact responsible for the students will need to provide the following:
- Name of University and Instructor (i.e. SVSU Nursing Student training – Instructor Janie Marker)
- Contact information for requestor: email and phone number
- First Name, Last Name, DOB, Phone Number & Email Address – for each student
- Start date & End Date for clinical rotation
You will be required to update the attached spreadsheet with the information listed above. Include this spreadsheet using the Attachments option when opening your ticket.
Please make sure spelling of names is accurate!
Once the ticket has been created, you will receive updates to the ticket and notifications if further information is needed from email, “<notify@teamdynamixapp.com>.” Please do not delete. You can respond to the ticket by simply clicking Reply. Your email will be posted in the ticket.
Please note: If a ticket is not created 2 weeks prior to the scheduled clinical start date; password & accounts cannot be guaranteed ready by your clinical start date. Instructors will be responsible for resetting the temporary passwords during clinical time. Passwords will be set and sent to each student using the email provided in the spreadsheet 3 days prior to clinical start date.
Instructors: It is extremely important that you update the ticket or contact the help desk to let them know if there is any change in your student roster to prevent any breech of security. Help Desk (989) 583-6014
(Example: If a student drops or fails out of clinicals their access/account will need to be deactivated immediately)
The eCovenant training team will no longer be holding classes for Epic training. All training will be completed through Acemapp. Epic training videos will automatically be assigned when requesting a Covenant Clinical rotation. Please utilize the attached tip sheets for directions on resetting temporary passwords & creating patient lists.
