Covenant HealthCare Awarded the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP) Accreditation

Covenant HealthCare was awarded reaccreditation from the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), an independent, accreditation organization recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). It earned this distinction after the HFAP conducted an extensive and objective review of the quality and safety standards of Covenant.

“Covenant clearly demonstrates a commitment to quality patient care,” said Lawrence Haspel, DO Chairman of the Bureau of Healthcare Facilities Accreditation for the HFAP. “We base our decision on federal standards, as well as recognized national standards for patient safety, quality improvement, and environmental safety. Covenant met or exceeded the standards in every case.”

“It is a significant achievement that recognizes our commitment to providing extraordinary care to our patients and our community. Providing quality care is what drives us every day, and we keep it at the forefront of our work,” said Covenant Chief Transformation Officer, Michael W. Sullivan, MD MBA. “We are proud HFAP has validated the care our team provides.”
