Covenant Kids

Covenant Kids is a fund managed by Covenant HealthCare Foundation. Monies in this fund are dedicated to enhancing the care for all Covenant kids, which includes any Covenant patient under the age of 18 and their families. Since 2010, Covenant Kids has raised more than $1 million to support pediatric needs of the Great Lakes Bay Region and beyond.  For more information, take a look at our 2018 Covenant Kids Impact Report.

Covenant HealthCare is the regional leader in providing extraordinary health care services to children:

  • ACS Verified Pediatric Trauma Center, one of only six in Michigan verified to care for the whole family in an emergency.
  • Community-based urgent care through MedExpress. Extensive clinical programs for children (diabetes, rehabilitation, cardiology, and more).
  • Level III Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (RNICU) offering the highest level of critical care for infants.
  • Regional Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) serving mid-Michigan and the northern lower Michigan region for critically ill infants and children through the age of 17.

The Covenant Kids fund receives money through on-going philanthropic activities organized by hospital employees, community organizations, and individuals.  Our main fundraising event for Covenant Kids in 2024 is the Covenant Kids Gala on October 18.
